Sugata: Shinogi-zukuri, tori-zori, iori-mune.
Overall length: 26.42 inches (671.00 mm).
Nagasa: 21.10 inches (536.00 mm).
Nakago: Ubu, 5.31 inches (135.00 mm), kiri yasurime, one mekugi-ana.
Kissaki: Chu-kissaki, 1.16 inches (29.5 mm). Sugu-komaru boshi
Moto-haba: 1.14 inches (28.90 mm). Saki-haba: 0.74 inches (18.70 mm). Moto-gasane: 0.24 inches (6.20 mm). Saki-gasane: 0.18 inches (4.60 mm).
Sori: 0.39 inches (10.00 mm).
Hamon: Suguha, with ko-ashi, sunagashi and kinsuji.
Hada: Itame and mokume. There is utsuri and chikei in the jigane.
Blade condition: In fresh polish, and showing plenty of activity. See pictures.
Mounts:
Old koshirae. The freshly restored tsuka is bound in 'court mount' style, with the ito crossing over the horn koshirae. The fuchi is of copper, gold and shakudo, and features a bird design. One seppa is wrapped in gold foil, whilst the habaki is of silver. The top of the saya is decorated with lacquered rattan bindings.
